About us

Welcome to Notable, a culinary experience created by chef Vital Awick and sommelier Adriaan Visser. Located in a former roof tile factory, our restaurant is where craftsmanship, passion, and creativity come together.

At our Chef's Table you are in the heart of the kitchen. We create a menu which unfolds right in front of you.

For me food is about sharing great moments, refined flavors and being in good company.

During and after my culinary school I worked at multiple great restaurants. Including Da Vinci, De Leuf, Rijks and Tribeca in Heeze. At the last one, I met Adriaan, whom I worked with at Harrys.

These endavours did not only bring me knowledge and experience, but also lifelong friendships. I am looking forward to welcome you in our own restaurant.

Sommelier

For me being a sommelier is all about people. Connecting guests to the winemakers behind the bottles is perhaps the most beautiful thing there is.

Born and raised in the Achterhoek, I never suspected I would start a career as a sommelier. This brought me at Cordial and haut-cuisine restaurant Tribeca, where I met Vital. Onwards to Harry's and now our own place: Notable.

In 2022 I won the title Best Sommelier of the Netherlands This opened the door to an international adventure. Sharing this with you is amazing, because we never stop learning in this beautiful world of wine.

Spring Special

A fully catered five-course dinner, served with paired wines or non-alcoholic beverages, including water and coffee or tea afterwards. Price: €130 per person – Available for reservation on Wednesdays and Thursdays.

At Notable, we love wine. And food. Did we mention wine paired with food? The wine world has never been as diverse and exciting as it is today. Our wine list is designed to guide you on a journey of discovery. While we focus primarily on Europe, we’re not afraid to include exceptional wines from the other side of the world. We collaborate with the best winemakers to share their finest creations with you.

Reservations

Private Dining

Reservations are easily made through our online reservationsystem. Fully booked? We have a waiting list available. On Friday - and Saturday we ask a prepayment of 25 euro per guest. This is refundable if you cancel your reservation at least 24 hours prior.

Are you with a party of four or more? You will be seated on a corner of the bar, so you can enjoy your company.

For group reservations larger than six, you can contact us by e-mail. Also to discuss a lunch or dinner in a private setting. We can create a unique afternoon or evening tailored to your wishes.

Accessibility

The restaurant is near the center of Echt, in the renovated Pannnefabriek. There is more than enough parking space. You find our entrance just next to the Gastopub's, directly opposite of the Jumbo. Here you walk up the stairs and enter Notable on your left.

Do you prefer the train? The station of Echt is a 15 minute walk from the restaurant. In the nearby city of Roermond you can find a variety of hotels.

Notable is located on the first floor of the factory and, unfortunately, is not wheelchair accessible and only reachable by stairs. Due to our open kitchen, we kindly ask that you leave your dog or other pets at home.
